TCL S65K 5.1ch True Surround Soundbar in Kenya

Overview

The TCL S65K 5.1ch True Surround Soundbar brings a more immersive home-cinema experience to your living room with a physical 5.1-channel configuration, dedicated rear surround speakers and a wireless subwoofer. Launched as part of TCL’s 2026 S-Class soundbar lineup, the S65K combines Dolby Atmos, DTS, TCL’s RAY·DANZ Lite surround technology and intelligent room calibration to create a wider, more engaging soundstage for movies, music, gaming and everyday TV viewing.

At KSh 30,999, this listing gives you a TCL soundbar system designed for users who want more than the front-facing sound of a conventional soundbar. The dedicated rear speakers help place sound around the listening area, while the subwoofer adds depth to bass-heavy movie scenes, music and games. TCL specifies seven high-quality drivers and six physical channels across the system.

The S65K also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS, provided you are playing compatible audio content. Its Tutti Choral technology can synchronise the soundbar with compatible TCL TV speakers, while AI Sonic-Adaptation uses the TCL Home App to analyse your room’s acoustic profile and optimise the sound for your space.

For connectivity, you get HDMI eARC, optical, USB and Bluetooth 5.3, making it suitable for TVs, gaming consoles, smartphones and other compatible devices. There are also eight sound modes, including Movie, Music, Gaming, Sports, News, Night, Standard and Custom.

If you’re looking to buy the TCL S65K 5.1ch True Surround Soundbar in Kenya, it is particularly suited to larger home entertainment setups where you want a more complete surround-sound experience rather than a simple soundbar upgrade.

About the TCL S65K 5.1ch True Surround Soundbar

True 5.1 Physical Surround Sound

The S65K is built around a genuine physical surround configuration rather than relying entirely on virtual processing. TCL equips the system with dedicated rear surround speakers, allowing sound to come from behind the listening position as well as from the front. This can make explosions, background effects, music and other directional sounds feel more naturally distributed around the room. TCL describes the system as having seven high-quality drivers and six physical channels.

For movie nights, sports and gaming, this configuration can create a more enveloping listening environment than a standard two-channel or all-in-one soundbar. The rear speakers are wireless, helping reduce the amount of cabling needed around the room.

Dolby Atmos and DTS

The TCL S65K supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS, giving compatible movies, shows and games access to more immersive spatial audio. Instead of limiting sound to conventional left and right channels, compatible Atmos and DTS content can create a greater sense of height, direction and movement.

This makes the S65K particularly useful for a dedicated home entertainment setup. For the full Atmos or DTS experience, your source content must support the relevant audio format.

RAY·DANZ Lite and Upmix Technology

TCL’s RAY·DANZ Lite technology works with a proprietary horizontal surround algorithm to expand the perceived soundstage. The system also includes an Upmix algorithm that processes source audio and redistributes sonic elements to create a more immersive presentation.

This means even content that was not originally produced as a full surround soundtrack can benefit from the soundbar’s processing.

AI Sonic-Adaptation

Room layout can have a significant effect on how a sound system performs. The S65K addresses this with AI Sonic-Adaptation, which works through the TCL Home App. The system can scan the acoustic profile of the room and adjust the sound to suit different layouts and seating positions.

This is useful in Kenyan homes where entertainment spaces can vary considerably in size and furniture arrangement. Rather than treating every room the same, the calibration feature is designed to help optimise the system for the environment in which it is installed.

Clearer Dialogue and Flexible Sound Modes

The S65K includes Voice Enhancement for improving dialogue clarity when background sounds are competing with speech. This can be particularly helpful for movies, news programmes and TV dramas where understanding conversations is just as important as hearing effects and music.

You can also choose from eight sound modes: Standard, Movie, Music, Sports, News, Gaming, Night and Custom. The different modes let you adjust the sound according to what you are watching or listening to, while the TCL Home App provides access to the full selection.

Seamless Connectivity

The S65K provides HDMI eARC, optical and USB connectivity, alongside Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. This gives you several ways to connect the soundbar to your entertainment equipment, including compatible televisions, game consoles and mobile devices.

When paired with a compatible TCL TV, Tutti Choral can synchronise the TV’s speakers with the soundbar. TCL says this combines the output to create clearer vocals and a wider soundstage. The S65K can also be controlled with a TCL TV remote when paired with a compatible TCL television.

Modern Floating Design

The S65K features TCL’s Echo Valley-inspired design, with a curved metal unibody appearance and L-shaped bases that contribute to its floating aesthetic. The system can be installed on a stand or mounted on a wall, allowing it to integrate more easily into different living-room arrangements.

The main soundbar measures 850 × 64 × 90 mm, while the wireless subwoofer measures 220 × 290 × 330 mm. The satellite speakers measure 100 × 162 × 120 mm.

Perfect for You

Home Cinema: Enjoy movies with physical rear surround speakers, a wireless subwoofer, Dolby Atmos and DTS.

Gaming: The 5.1-channel configuration and surround processing can make compatible games feel more immersive by placing audio around the listening position.

Music: Switch to Music mode for everyday listening and use Bluetooth to stream compatible audio from your smartphone or other device.

Sports & TV: Sports mode and Voice Enhancement can help make commentary and programme audio easier to follow.

Large Living Rooms: The dedicated rear speakers and wider soundstage make the S65K suitable for users who want a more complete home-theatre setup.
